About Mr. Douglas:
I have been teaching fourth grade at Dale Street School for 22 years. Hard to believe how fast time flies. I am so fortunate to teach in a community that is so supportive of our education system. I am very excited to be teaching with Mrs. Flynn as my partner again this year. I will teach both of our classes Science. Mrs. Flynn will teach Social Studies. There will be several times throughout the year where we will be working together on different projects.
I am an avid sports fan. I have coached at Medfield High School and Franklin High School in the past. I am taking a break from that level to focus on coaching my sons, Ryan and Luke, in their various endeavors. I am actively involved with the intramural program at Dale Street School.
My philosophy is that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something. We all have strengths and differences that can be shared in various forms and ways. Hopefully the students are able to recognize this and value each other’s uniqueness as we build our community.
About Room 7:
In this classroom:
We do second chances.
We apologize.
We forgive.
We respect each other.
We keep our promises.
We never give up.
We encourage one another.
We laugh often.
